Jonatan Licerio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliseo Celino in the 19th minute. Fabio Txurio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Inocente, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 32 minutes of play, Yuthiel FC's Americo Asur made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonatan Licerio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonatan Licerio made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Eliseo Celino sent off a good shot on target. 38 minutes into the match, Yuthiel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Estavan came free, but Fabio Txurio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Luisito Savion fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yuthiel FC's protests and gave Luisito Savion a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Luisito Savion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Angelino Tavio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Independent Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Independent Football Club's Jonatan Licerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Americo Asur in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Natalio Inocente stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yuthiel FC's Fabio Txurio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Yuthiel FC from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Jairo Estavan took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Fabio Txurio to make any attempt to save it. Independent Football Club's Jairo Estavan got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
