The audience was convinced that Primeiro Mancina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abelardo Gora was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Abelardo Gora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Hanot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Bidun got free with Abelardo Gora in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abelardo Gora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Hanot, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute, Alberto Bidun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Copina AFC's Abelardo Gora got control of the ball when Primeiro Mancina tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18th match minute, Copina AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Marz to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Copina AFC's zone, Rodolfo Hanot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abelardo Gora came out of the goal and Rodolfo Hanot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Racing Comunicaciones's Alberto Bidun slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abelardo Gora. That made the score 2-0 after 21 minutes of play. Racing Comunicaciones's Alberto Bidun was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 28th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The supporters of Racing Comunicaciones booed when Copina AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Olando didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, Rodolfo Hanot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victor Admon was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Copina AFC defense, Rodolfo Hanot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abelardo Gora. The Copina AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abelardo Gora should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Racing Comunicaciones's Artemio Cheche got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 65th minute Alberto Bidun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Gora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Racing Comunicaciones booed when Copina AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Confesor didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 69 minutes, Primeiro Mancina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Comunicaciones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Primeiro Mancina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Racing Comunicaciones fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Racing Comunicaciones's Alberto Bidun looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Artemio Cheche scored 10-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abelardo Gora, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 79 minutes, Alberto Bidun made it 11-0 with a short kick to the right side. Copina AFC's Abelardo Gora tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rodolfo Hanot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Gora having to interfere. Alberto Bidun might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abelardo Gora. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto Bidun ran back to his position shaking his head. When Augusto Papo fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Copina AFC's protests and gave Augusto Papo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Copina AFC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Augusto Papo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Hanot in the 87th minute of play forced Copina AFC's goalkeeper Abelardo Gora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abelardo Gora stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Primeiro Mancina's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Alberto Bidun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Racing Comunicaciones walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
