Severo Herensuge was a little too slow when Leonel Ostadar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atl. River Plate's zone, Alonzo Brais stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casimiro Frechoso came out of the goal and Alonzo Brais tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Florencio Lesardo charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florencio Lesardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Club Atl. River Plate booed when Castex was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florencio Lesardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Alonzo Brais notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Club Atl. River Plate's Casimiro Frechoso. Casimiro Frechoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Brais in the 33rd minute of play forced Club Atl. River Plate's goalkeeper Casimiro Frechoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severo Herensuge made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Lorenzo Domiku sent off a good shot on target. If Alonzo Brais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Florencio Lesardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Severo Herensuge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Domiku, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Severo Herensuge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Domiku in the 55th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Castex's Ambrosio Erdiano got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute, Laureano Atarrabi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atl. River Plate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Florencio Lesardo hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the match, Castex's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Atarrabi came free, but Severo Herensuge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severo Herensuge didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lorenzo Domiku went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. Alonzo Brais in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Casimiro Frechoso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The Club Atl. River Plate supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Castex's performance. The match ended with a win for Castex.
