Ferdinand Budianu was slow to take the kick. During this time Oberá AFC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Oberá AFC's Ubaldo Loiola to a score. 1-0 in the 5th minute. Claudio Bravo came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Oberá AFC's Karim Giroud. But to his dismay, Karim Giroud quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 16 minutes into the match, Papagallos's goalkeeper Claudio Bravo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ubaldo Loiola. Claudio Bravo made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Eleftherios Lallos sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th minute Aaron Hurko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Bravo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Papagallos's goalkeeper Claudio Bravo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ubaldo Loiola. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Hurko in the 22nd minute of play forced Papagallos's goalkeeper Claudio Bravo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eleftherios Lallos during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Papagallos booed when Oberá AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleftherios Lallos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Braulio Castulo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudio Bravo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Baraquiel in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Papagallos's Alejo Pueblo got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute of the match, Aaron Hurko tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Claudio Bravo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Aaron Hurko received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Claudio Bravo came out and tried to block the shot, but Aaron Hurko slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 32nd minute. Aaron Hurko who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Claudio Bravo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Johnathan Jobson kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Karim Giroud's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Claudio Bravo firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some careless play in the Papagallos defense, Aaron Hurko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudio Bravo. The Papagallos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudio Bravo should have stopped the shot. Aaron Hurko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baldomero Afonso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Hurko in the 56th minute of play forced Papagallos's goalkeeper Claudio Bravo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 62 minutes, Aaron Hurko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oberá AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aaron Hurko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Papagallos's goal looked a bit too open when Eleftherios Lallos came free, but Claudio Bravo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Papagallos's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Loiola came free, but Claudio Bravo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78thth minute of the game Aaron Hurko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Papagallos's Claudio Bravo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 80 minutes into the game, Oberá AFC's Ubaldo Loiola nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudio Bravo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. 84 minutes into the match, Papagallos's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Loiola came free, but Claudio Bravo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute Aaron Hurko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Bravo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolas Lamberto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baldomero Afonso's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Oberá AFC fully deserved thier win.
