The audience thought a goal was coming when Luciano Guillelme got free with Hernan Guilabertus in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute Deportivo Villa Bosch were awarded a corner. Romeo Kepa went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Erasmo Dominguez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sindo Rozano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Erasmo Dominguez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sindo Rozano was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Ambrosio Dolfo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 40th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 83rd minute, Romeo Kepa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sindo Rozano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 92nd minute, Ambrosio Dolfo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Deportivo Villa Bosch supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Deportivo Villa Bosch would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
