After 4 minutes, Okhoropir Sulaberidze mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Universidad Emilhense and the Shortcock F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ismael Medero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Larra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oscar Quintana scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ismael Medero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 12 minutes into the match, Shortcock F.C.'s goalkeeper Ladislao Savier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodoro Vizcarra. A collision led to Shortcock F.C. getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Omar Larra hit a great ball. Universidad Emilhense's Ismael Medero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Larra in the 19th minute of play. Aleksandr Chernavin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ladislao Savier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aleksandr Chernavin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Jesus Dominguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Aleksandr Chernavin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodoro Vizcarra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ladislao Savier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teodoro Vizcarra went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Jesus Dominguez charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jesus Dominguez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jesus Dominguez hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Teodoro Vizcarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Ladislao Savier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aleksandr Chernavin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Teodoro Vizcarra struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Ladislao Savier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Universidad Emilhense. Aleksandr Chernavin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ladislao Savier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Ekhi in the 62nd minute of play forced Universidad Emilhense's goalkeeper Ismael Medero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amadeo Rocio charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amadeo Rocio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 63 played minutes Universidad Emilhense got a freekick which was hit by Amadeo Rocio. Omar Larra hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Shortcock F.C. defense, Teodoro Vizcarra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ladislao Savier. The Shortcock F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ladislao Savier should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Shortcock F.C.'s zone, Aleksandr Chernavin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ladislao Savier came out of the goal and Aleksandr Chernavin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Universidad Emilhense's Aleksandr Chernavin got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jesus Dominguez kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Ladislao Savier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Vizcarra, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Ladislao Savier came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Universidad Emilhense's Aleksandr Chernavin. But to his dismay, Aleksandr Chernavin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. When the referee ended the match the Universidad Emilhense players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
