Spectators: 7459 (Terracing: 5602, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 140) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andino's Prudencio Bernal got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enzo Kismi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ismael Medero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ismael Medero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Cheche in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute Enzo Kismi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Medero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victorio Papo made in the 19th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Universidad Emilhense's Okhoropir Sulaberidze. When Eduardo Baristo fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Universidad Emilhense's protests and gave Eduardo Baristo a yellow card for diving instead. Aleksandr Chernavin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ismael Medero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prudencio Bernal, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Universidad Emilhense's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Kismi came free, but Ismael Medero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ismael Medero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Cheche in the 32nd minute of play. After 34 minutes, Enzo Kismi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Andino and the Universidad Emilhense players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Andino's Enzo Kismi got a free kick in the 34th minute. Teodoro Vizcarra scored 1-0 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abel Ubarna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Universidad Emilhense's Ricardo Ebardo got a free kick in the 48th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aleksandr Chernavin made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teodoro Vizcarra in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Ubarna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Andino getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Reynaldo Cheche hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, Andino's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Vizcarra came free, but Abel Ubarna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teodoro Vizcarra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Ubarna having to interfere. Abel Ubarna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleksandr Chernavin, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Universidad Emilhense's Ricardo Ebardo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Fulgencio Errolan in the 71 minute of the game. 73 minutes into the match, Universidad Emilhense's Aleksandr Chernavin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abel Ubarna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Andino's zone, Aleksandr Chernavin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abel Ubarna came out of the goal and Aleksandr Chernavin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Andino defense, Aleksandr Chernavin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abel Ubarna. The Andino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abel Ubarna should have stopped the shot. Teodoro Vizcarra struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Abel Ubarna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Universidad Emilhense. Universidad Emilhense's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Prudencio Bernal scored to the left of an out of position Ismael Medero, making the score, 2-1. Abel Ubarna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Vizcarra, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Tano in the 94th minute of play forced Universidad Emilhense's goalkeeper Ismael Medero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Universidad Emilhense's Ismael Medero got control of the ball when Enzo Kismi tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Universidad Emilhense players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
