In the 11thth minute of the game Chan Bom who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Independiente's Erubiel Celipe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Independiente's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Victorino Veronica was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Deportivo Rosamonte's players had a chance to rest. Victorino Veronica made a great header on Club Deportivo Rosamonte's corner, it was just that Independiente's Erubiel Celipe managed to reach the ball for a save. If Niceto Quentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A determined Victorino Veronica managed in the 26th minute to get himself all alone with Independiente's defense, but despite getting through the defense fighting Erubiel Celipe only he managed to shoot the ball outside the top right corner. After 27 played minutes Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Blas Pierres. In the 32nd minute, Diego Rius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the game, Ovidio Luken was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Deportivo Rosamonte's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Independiente the free kick. In the 39th match minute, Club Deportivo Rosamonte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Luken to maneuver through the defense. When Independiente's Celedonio Chico, in the 48th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Independiente. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celedonio Chico to strike the kick off in the second half. Erubiel Celipe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleksandr Shabrov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Saverio Eliu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erubiel Celipe was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Club Deportivo Rosamonte's Abelardo Alonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Chico in the 56th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Rius got free with Abelardo Alonso in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fidel Bordat hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Chan Bom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Deportivo Rosamonte's supporters rose to their feet, but Chan Bom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erubiel Celipe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The corner led Club Deportivo Rosamonte's Victorino Veronica to fire away a dangerous shot which Erubiel Celipe despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 89 minutes into the game, Chan Bom cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Erubiel Celipe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 95th minute, Aleksandr Shabrov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Deportivo Rosamonte fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1.
