In the 35th minute Claudio Abar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Sendoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santos Sendoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimiro Leheren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santos Sendoa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vladimiro Leheren went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 44 minutes of play Vecchia Signora's Fernando Llanos was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Fernando Llanos hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rolando Cesario to strike the kick off in the second half. When Rolando Cesario came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Alzaga FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolando Cesario couldn't finish the play. Vecchia Signora's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
