Spectators: 7469 (Terracing: 5603, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) Alzaga FC's Rolando Cesario started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Santos Sendoa came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Girasoles FC's Teodosio Mateus. But to his dismay, Teodosio Mateus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Elvio Dimo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santos Sendoa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. After having played for 10 minutes, Gervasio Jerrald managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Girasoles FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervasio Jerrald was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rolando Cesario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pascual Guzman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rolando Cesario in the 14th minute. In the 18th minute of the match Elpidio Burutzagi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Santos Sendoa skillfully saved the ball. In the 19th minute, Alzaga FC's Rolando Cesario ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pascual Guzman. Pascual Guzman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. A collision led to Girasoles FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Gervasio Jerrald hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the game, Teodosio Mateus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Santos Sendoa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 30 minutes into the game, Girasoles FC's Adolfo Eriz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Santos Sendoa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Alzaga FC's Santos Sendoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Monte in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th minute, Gervasio Jerrald left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Girasoles FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. 40 minutes into the match, Alzaga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Eriz came free, but Santos Sendoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Isidro Quirze made a precise shot to the right of Pascual Guzman. Girasoles FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-5.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Adolfo Eriz got free with Santos Sendoa in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 52nd minute, Elvio Dimo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santos Sendoa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-6. Alzaga FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Elvio Dimo 57 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-7. After some careless play in the Alzaga FC defense, Teodosio Mateus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santos Sendoa. The Alzaga FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santos Sendoa should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvio Dimo in the 65th minute of play forced Alzaga FC's goalkeeper Santos Sendoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adolfo Eriz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Humberto Monte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Santos Sendoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santos Sendoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvio Dimo in the 70th minute of the match. With a little luck, Alzaga FC's Santos Sendoa got control of the ball when Adolfo Eriz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Freddy Evarado's late challenge caught a Girasoles FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freddy Evarado helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th minute Elvio Dimo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Sendoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Girasoles FC's Humberto Monte dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-9. After a rather tough play, Alzaga FC's Rolando Cesario got a free kick in the 90th minute. Girasoles FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
