Marco Van Der Taelen ran back to his position shaking his head. If Marco Van Der Taelen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Godofredo Chus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marco Van Der Taelen might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Godofredo Chus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Marco Van Der Taelen managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Ciro Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Van Der Taelen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Godofredo Chus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Marco Van Der Taelen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. In the 41st minute Danilo Lizer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godofredo Chus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Van Der Taelen in the 44th minute of play forced THE KELLOGGS CLUB's goalkeeper Godofredo Chus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half San Ciro Utd were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marco Van Der Taelen to strike the kick off in the second half. San Ciro Utd's Marco Van Der Taelen got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Marco Van Der Taelen fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Ciro Utd's protests and gave Marco Van Der Taelen a yellow card for diving instead. After 60 played minutes San Ciro Utd got a freekick which was hit by Marco Van Der Taelen. Marco Van Der Taelen succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 64th playminute. When Marco Van Der Taelen came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the San Ciro Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Van Der Taelen couldn't finish the play. San Ciro Utd's Nemesio Opilano got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, Nemesio Opilano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Godofredo Chus. THE KELLOGGS CLUB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nemesio Opilano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Nemesio Opilano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Godofredo Chus made a huge save. Marco Van Der Taelen succeeded in the game's 88th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-6. Nemesio Opilano succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-7 in the 92nd playminute. San Ciro Utd's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
