The supporters of Rosario Central booed when Atlético Vinland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Firmin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute Marcos Amato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Niva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tomás Brion came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Atlético Vinland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Brion couldn't finish the play. Atlético Vinland's Paulo Niva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Vinland from getting a goal against them. Laureano Ugutz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomás Brion's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Atlético Vinland's Tomás Brion sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laureano Ugutz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Beppe Manzoli took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Niva. Paulo Niva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Adrian Domeka hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Paulo Niva made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Beppe Manzoli sent off a good shot on target. 45 minutes into the game, Adrian Domeka threw the ball into play from the sideline. Atlético Vinland's Gaspar Uhin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Gaspar Uhin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Beppe Manzoli to make the kick off. During the 52nd minute of the match Bartosz Gacki completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bartosz Gacki a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 52 played minutes Rosario Central got a freekick which was hit by Bartosz Gacki. Atlético Vinland's Paulo Niva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Cordaryal in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Amato in the 56th minute of play forced Atlético Vinland's goalkeeper Paulo Niva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Amato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 64 minutes into the match, Atlético Vinland's goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Cordaryal came free, but Paulo Niva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 65 minutes, Geronimo Cordaryal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosario Central's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geronimo Cordaryal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Laureano Abar kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Marcos Amato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Paulo Niva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Cordaryal in the 74th minute of play forced Atlético Vinland's goalkeeper Paulo Niva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Geronimo Cordaryal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Atlético Vinland getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Mauro Goiz hit a great ball. If Marcos Amato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Amato in the 86th minute of play forced Atlético Vinland's goalkeeper Paulo Niva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cirilo Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Ugutz having to interfere. If Tomás Brion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Atlético Vinland's Tomás Brion in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rosario Central's goalie prevented a goal. When Geronimo Cordaryal came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Rosario Central fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geronimo Cordaryal couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Atlético Vinland players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rosario Central.
