With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iordache Ghinescu in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolas Txema saved defensivo f.c from getting behind. In the 9th minute, Norberto Mino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicolas Txema made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iordache Ghinescu in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th match minute, defensivo f.c was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evert Van Ghele to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, defensivo f.c's Joel Javiero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teofilo Lastras narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Iordache Ghinescu came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Steaua Noes Potable fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iordache Ghinescu couldn't finish the play. Iordache Ghinescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Javiero's late challenge caught a Steaua Noes Potable's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joel Javiero helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to defensivo f.c getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Joel Javiero hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Iordache Ghinescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Steaua Noes Potable fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Iordache Ghinescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iordache Ghinescu in the 26th minute of play forced defensivo f.c's goalkeeper Nicolas Txema to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. defensivo f.c's Baltasar Tiniebra got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teofilo Lastras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Javiero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, defensivo f.c's goal looked a bit too open when Iordache Ghinescu came free, but Nicolas Txema reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Steaua Noes Potable getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Tim Farley hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Evert Van Ghele reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Teofilo Lastras. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 43rd match minute, Steaua Noes Potable was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Teodor to maneuver through the defense. Teofilo Lastras was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Joel Javiero capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joel Javiero really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

If Luisito Odilon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florencio Turi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Lastras having to interfere. After some careless play in the defensivo f.c defense, Iordache Ghinescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicolas Txema. The defensivo f.c fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicolas Txema should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle sounded Steaua Noes Potable left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than defensivo f.c.
