Joel Javiero showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. MERLINFC's Ciro Txanton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Javiero in the 20th minute of play. Rolando Orlondon charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rolando Orlondon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rolando Orlondon hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silvestre Cidro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of defensivo f.c booed when MERLINFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Abajas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The attack was good, but when Ruben Tabb in the 76th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal.
