Yngve Sandvoll was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Leonides Igon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Triperos's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonides Igon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yngve Sandvoll breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yngve Sandvoll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Lesardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Leonides Igon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yngve Sandvoll read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Leonides Igon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yngve Sandvoll having to interfere. Yngve Sandvoll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Baldovino in the 23rd minute of play. A very good chance for a goal. 26 minutes into the game, Leonides Igon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Yngve Sandvoll was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 34 minutes into the match, Los Triperos's Leonides Igon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yngve Sandvoll narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Leonides Igon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yngve Sandvoll was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arturo Baldovino made a kick off. In the 56thth minute of the game Arturo Baldovino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sportivo Sernova's Yngve Sandvoll was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Justino Lesardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Arturo Baldovino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yngve Sandvoll was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Constantino Santxol kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Arturo Baldovino took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Yngve Sandvoll to make any attempt to save it. Yngve Sandvoll made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Arturo Baldovino sent off a good shot on target. Yngve Sandvoll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Igon in the 83rd minute of play. Sportivo Sernova's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Arturo Baldovino 95 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-8. Los Triperos played a much better game than Sportivo Sernova and deserved their victory. The Sportivo Sernova players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
