After having played for 10 minutes, Jonathan Herauso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beltrán City FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Herauso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ciro Txanton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Rolado, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 18th minute, Arturo Rolado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciro Txanton was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 23rd minute of the match Beltrán City FC got a corner. MERLINFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Domingos Locaio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arturo Rolado in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciro Txanton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Gerazan in the 29th minute of play forced MERLINFC's goalkeeper Ciro Txanton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Arturo Rolado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ciro Txanton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 34 minutes into the match, Arturo Rolado notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of MERLINFC's Ciro Txanton. Ciro Txanton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 41st minute of the game Niceto Figueroa made a throw-in which Cristo Sauveur played forward. The supporters of Beltrán City FC booed when MERLINFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. MERLINFC's Ciro Txanton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Rolado in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arturo Rolado was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Silvestre Cidro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eevald Kadarpik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leandro Gasteiz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ciro Txanton came out and tried to block the shot, but Leandro Gasteiz slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 53rd minute. The supporters of Beltrán City FC booed when MERLINFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Figueroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rdth minute of the game Leandro Gasteiz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MERLINFC's Ciro Txanton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 74th minute, one of Beltrán City FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Beltrán City FC. After a rather tough play, Beltrán City FC's Teofilo Joachim got a free kick in the 84th minute. Ciro Txanton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Gasteiz in the 86th minute of play. Eevald Kadarpik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Cidro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teofilo Joachim hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the match, Aquiles Gerazan notched a goal, 1-8, to the right of MERLINFC's Ciro Txanton. Ciro Txanton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ciro Txanton didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 98th minute, which inside left pole to 1-9. When the match was over Beltrán City FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than MERLINFC throughout the match.
