Adolfo Oier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Rey having to interfere. When Norberto Iratxo fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rinconadilla FC's protests and gave Norberto Iratxo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Rinconadilla FC's Norberto Iratxo got a free kick in the 15th minute. Arxel Patiño was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Rogelio Ieltxu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rogelio Ieltxu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Rinconadilla FC were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Lobos Fútbol Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ulises Shantala took the corner. Lobos Fútbol Club's Baldomero Rey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Oier in the 33rd minute of play. Baldomero Rey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ulises Shantala went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Lobos Fútbol Club's Baldomero Rey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Haritzeder in the 40th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogelio Ieltxu was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Rogelio Ieltxu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lobos Fútbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogelio Ieltxu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Baldomero Rey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Shantala in the 63rd minute of the match. Rogelio Ieltxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Arxel Patiño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Rinconadilla FC's Damaso Cordeal got a free kick in the 84th minute. If Rogelio Ieltxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rogelio Ieltxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lobos Fútbol Club were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
