Edgardo Behe placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The crowd rose to their feet as Generoso Guib kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sonny Safer. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Guib in the 10th minute of play forced Wasabi FC's goalkeeper Sonny Safer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Generoso Guib came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Lobos Fútbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Generoso Guib couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, Lobos Fútbol Club's Sonny Safer threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Generoso Guib, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sonny Safer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Luzaide, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 21 minutes, Mateo Romero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wasabi FC and the Lobos Fútbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Roque Cedro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mateo Romero hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Lobos Fútbol Club's Rogelio Ieltxu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sonny Safer. That made the score 2-0 after 30 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Cedro in the 36th minute of play forced Wasabi FC's goalkeeper Sonny Safer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Javier Salvatore was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wasabi FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lobos Fútbol Club the free kick. The supporters of Lobos Fútbol Club booed when Wasabi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Lobos Fútbol Club's Edgardo Behe tried to score from far away in the 43rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Sonny Safer was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Generoso Guib showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 46 minute of play.

In the 54th match minute, Wasabi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Salvatore to maneuver through the defense. Generoso Guib fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sonny Safer having to interfere. Sonny Safer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Ieltxu in the 59th minute of play. Sonny Safer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Generoso Guib went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Wasabi FC defense, Domingo Luzaide kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sonny Safer. The Wasabi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sonny Safer should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Guib in the 69th minute of play forced Wasabi FC's goalkeeper Sonny Safer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Edgardo Behe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Rogelio Ieltxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Cedro in the 78th minute of play forced Wasabi FC's goalkeeper Sonny Safer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sonny Safer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Generoso Guib, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sonny Safer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Generoso Guib in the 85th minute of play. Wasabi FC's Sonny Safer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Luzaide in the 90th minute of play. Baldomero Rey made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Javier Salvatore sent off a good shot on target. Sonny Safer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Generoso Guib in the 92nd minute of the match. 97 minutes into the match, Lobos Fútbol Club's Generoso Guib sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sonny Safer narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
