Spectators: 7527 (Terracing: 5646, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Damaso Cordeal started the match with the kick off. Benicio Luken hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Arxel Patiño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Tibalt in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Los Matadores's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Oier came free, but Ernesto Cristos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Eduardo Raulo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Los Matadores's Ernesto Cristos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Los Matadores from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damaso Cordeal got free with Ernesto Cristos in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ulises Shantala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arxel Patiño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Pello in the 19th minute of play. Mariano Ignazio scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arxel Patiño, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 23 minutes of play, Los Matadores's Godofredo Dolcet made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arxel Patiño was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ulises Shantala struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Ernesto Cristos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rinconadilla FC. Arxel Patiño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benicio Luken, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the game, Benicio Luken cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Arxel Patiño was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 37 minutes into the game, Emilio Pirro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ernesto Cristos. Emilio Pirro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Adolfo Oier scored 2-3 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernesto Cristos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rinconadilla FC's Arxel Patiño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Ignazio in the 45th minute of play. Ernesto Cristos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damaso Cordeal in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Ignazio to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Damaso Cordeal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Cristos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernesto Cristos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damaso Cordeal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th match minute, Rinconadilla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Deunoro to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute of the match Remigio Pello shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arxel Patiño showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Shantala in the 62nd minute of play forced Los Matadores's goalkeeper Ernesto Cristos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Los Matadores's Ernesto Cristos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Pirro in the 77th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Los Matadores's Eduardo Raulo got a free kick in the 77th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Damaso Cordeal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rinconadilla FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Damaso Cordeal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Cristos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lázaro Haritzeder in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto Cristos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 92 minutes into the match, Los Matadores's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Shantala came free, but Ernesto Cristos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Adolfo Oier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rinconadilla FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfo Oier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Cristos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Los Matadores's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Rinconadilla FC had won, even though Los Matadores had held more of the ball.
