In the 4th minute, Romulo Bide made a precise shot to the right of Nicolas Lidon. Patos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Romulo Bide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hipolito Xacintu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute, Romulo Bide got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patos FC's Higinio Cresenciano got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Camilo Urritz came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Patos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camilo Urritz couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute, Primitivo Montez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romulo Bide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Lidon having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Lanserou Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Urritz came free, but Filomeno Pepillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lanserou Fc's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Serafino Sergi was slow to take the kick. During this time Patos FC's players had a chance to rest. Patos FC's Serafino Sergi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Filomeno Pepillo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Romulo Bide stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romulo Bide in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolas Lidon saved Patos FC from getting behind. 54 minutes into the game, Lanserou Fc's Luisito Lehoi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicolas Lidon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Patos FC's zone, Romulo Bide stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Lidon came out of the goal and Romulo Bide tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Higinio Cresenciano got free with Filomeno Pepillo in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Patos FC's Higinio Cresenciano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Filomeno Pepillo. That made the score 2-2 after 60 minutes of play. The supporters of Lanserou Fc booed when Patos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Frichoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Romulo Bide fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lanserou Fc's protests and gave Romulo Bide a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Lanserou Fc's Romulo Bide got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Lanserou Fc's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Camilo Urritz scored to the left of an out of position Filomeno Pepillo, making the score, 2-3. After 76 minutes, Saverio Ospin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lanserou Fc and the Patos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lanserou Fc's Saverio Ospin got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 79th minute, Lino Frichoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lanserou Fc! Serafino Sergi walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Lanserou Fc's Leon Nesto got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 91 minutes, Leon Nesto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lanserou Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon Nesto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Higinio Cresenciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filomeno Pepillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Cresenciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle went the supporters of Patos FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Lanserou Fc side.
