After a rather tough play, New Pi's Shaun Jackson got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute, Aldo Niguel made a precise shot to the right of Zé Paulo Mendes. New Pi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Marcelo Goito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dé 张苞 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Dé 张苞 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Goito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Marcelo Goito notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of NOB l Rulitos Team's Dé 张苞. Dé 张苞 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aldo Niguel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Zé Paulo Mendes made a huge save. Dé 张苞 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Goito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the NOB l Rulitos Team defense, Marcelo Goito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dé 张苞. The NOB l Rulitos Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dé 张苞 should have stopped the shot. Marcelo Goito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Dé 张苞 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. NOB l Rulitos Team's Dé 张苞 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Cordeiro in the 36th minute of play. After taking down the ball on New Pi's corner Generoso Artizar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dé 张苞 quite easily take care of the ball. Yngve Klack kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aldo Niguel to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, New Pi's Marcelo Goito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dé 张苞 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 54th minute, Hugo Vellito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zé Paulo Mendes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aldo Niguel's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Zé Paulo Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wlodzimierz Andrychowski in the 57th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wlodzimierz Andrychowski in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Paulo Mendes saved New Pi from getting behind. 66 minutes into the match, New Pi's goal looked a bit too open when Léonard Poret came free, but Zé Paulo Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 69 played minutes NOB l Rulitos Team got a freekick which was hit by Justo Santiago. When Primitivo Laurin fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NOB l Rulitos Team's protests and gave Primitivo Laurin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd match minute, NOB l Rulitos Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Laurin to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind NOB l Rulitos Team's goalkeeper Dé 张苞, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in New Pi's zone, Aldo Niguel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Paulo Mendes came out of the goal and Aldo Niguel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cayetano Cordeiro's late challenge caught a NOB l Rulitos Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cayetano Cordeiro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd minute Wlodzimierz Andrychowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Paulo Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. New Pi had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
