In the 31stth minute of the game Marcelo Goito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Patos FC's Nicolas Lidon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Marcelo Goito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Patos FC's Nicolas Lidon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Patos FC from getting a goal against them. The New Pi fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when New Pi's Marcelo Goito looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 14-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. New Pi had played much better football throughout.
