The El Rejunte De WIlde fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronald Anders should have stopped the shot. A hard shot 45 in the game by Hector Bracamonte from a close distance when the talented Lorenzo Stephen managed to make a qualified save. El Hadary FC's players were relieved. 46 minutes into the match, El Hadary FC's goalkeeper Lorenzo Stephen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hector Bracamonte. After having played for 48 minutes, Luis Bartels managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Hadary FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Bartels was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luis Bartels was the one to do the kick off. Ronald Anders was a little too slow when Angelino Belo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. In the 90th minute Hector Bracamonte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Stephen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, El Hadary FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Lazcano came free, but Lorenzo Stephen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Lazcano in the 95th minute of play forced El Hadary FC's goalkeeper Lorenzo Stephen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronald Anders made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enzo Francescoli in the 98th minute. El Hadary FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support.
