Konrāds Rabkins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Formerio in the 25th minute of play. When Armindo Belém came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Vinará FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armindo Belém couldn't finish the play. When Wojciech Marciewicz fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Faraday FC's protests and gave Wojciech Marciewicz a yellow card for diving instead. After 29 played minutes Faraday FC got a freekick which was hit by Wojciech Marciewicz. The audience was convinced that Armindo Belém's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ildefonso Ikatz was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. After 37 minutes, Evelio Oton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vinará FC and the Faraday FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Vinará FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Evelio Oton hit a great ball. Armindo Belém might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ildefonso Ikatz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armindo Belém ran back to his position shaking his head. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Armindo Belém stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vinará FC's Konrāds Rabkins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Formerio in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Armindo Belém got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Faraday FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Bartolo Vela hit a great ball. After 61 minutes of play Faraday FC's Wojciech Marciewicz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Vinará FC booed when Faraday FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wojciech Marciewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Faraday FC's Ildefonso Ikatz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Faraday FC from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Armindo Belém kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ildefonso Ikatz. That made the score 0-1 in the 67 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Armindo Belém managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vinará FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Armindo Belém was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ildefonso Ikatz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 76 minutes into the match, Vinará FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Frasquito came free, but Konrāds Rabkins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
