With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tanek Solak in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lorenzo Stephen saved El Hadary FC from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Luis Bartels put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Aristides Orzaize.
