Ildefonso Ikatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Tajo in the 33rd minute of play. Ceferino Romildo hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Faraday FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arturo Sanson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ronald Anders came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Faraday FC's Hernan Mendez. But to his dismay, Hernan Mendez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The supporters of El Rejunte De WIlde booed when Faraday FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pelle Gabrielsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ildefonso Ikatz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Lazcano, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Mendez in the 46th minute of play forced El Rejunte De WIlde's goalkeeper Ronald Anders to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hernan Mendez was the one to do the kick off. Ceferino Formerio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Ronald Anders when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 73rd minute, Agustin Palben hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Faraday FC were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after El Rejunte De WIlde's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pelle Gabrielsson took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Wojciech Marciewicz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ronald Anders quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by El Rejunte De WIlde's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pelle Gabrielsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Faraday FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Faraday FC's Pelle Gabrielsson to fire away a dangerous shot which Ronald Anders despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Hector Bracamonte managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Rejunte De WIlde's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Bracamonte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ildefonso Ikatz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ceferino Formerio in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ronald Anders, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ildefonso Ikatz came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by El Rejunte De WIlde's Gerardo Lazcano. But to his dismay, Gerardo Lazcano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. In the 91st minute, Faraday FC's Ceferino Formerio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. Ildefonso Ikatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Bracamonte in the 95th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Faraday FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
