El Hadary FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vinará FC the free kick. Enzo Francescoli kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Boleslaw Golob could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Lorenzo Stephen made a huge save. El Hadary FC's Lorenzo Stephen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armindo Belém in the 16th minute of play. Konrāds Rabkins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Bartels in the 18th minute of play. Luis Bartels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Hadary FC's goalkeeper Lorenzo Stephen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Bartels in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Konrāds Rabkins saved Vinará FC from getting behind. When Omar Eusko fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Hadary FC's protests and gave Omar Eusko a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to El Hadary FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Omar Eusko hit a great ball. Lorenzo Stephen made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Armindo Belém sent off a good shot on target. During the 34th minute of the match Enzo Francescoli completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Enzo Francescoli a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 43 played minutes Vinará FC got a freekick which was hit by Boleslaw Golob. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Bartels in the 47th minute of play forced Vinará FC's goalkeeper Konrāds Rabkins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Armindo Belém to strike the kick off in the second half. The corner led Vinará FC's Tomas Eriksson to fire away a dangerous shot which Lorenzo Stephen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Vinará FC's Efrain Kismi tried to score from far away in the 70th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. El Hadary FC's Lorenzo Stephen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armindo Belém in the 72nd minute of play. After 75 minutes of play, Vinará FC's Armindo Belém made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lorenzo Stephen was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Mattin Boiro came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Vinará FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mattin Boiro couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Vinará FC's Armindo Belém got a free kick in the 79th minute. Konrāds Rabkins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Bartels in the 80th minute of the match. After 82 played minutes Vinará FC got a freekick which was hit by Boleslaw Golob. 85 minutes into the match, Vinará FC's goalkeeper Konrāds Rabkins had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luis Bartels. Lorenzo Stephen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armindo Belém in the 89th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Bartels got free with Konrāds Rabkins in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 94 played minutes El Hadary FC got a freekick which was hit by Omar Eusko. Vinará FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
