Bengt Östensson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rodolfo Maju. In the 18th match minute, VictorianoFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdurrezzak Tunçhan to maneuver through the defense. During the 19th minute of the match David Llin completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave David Llin a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Uriel Goren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Batista having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, VictorianoFC's Jano Arantes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bengt Östensson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 43rd minute of the match Rodolfo Maju shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bengt Östensson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in VictorianoFC's zone, Uriel Goren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casimiro Batista came out of the goal and Uriel Goren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abdurrezzak Tunçhan to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind VictorianoFC's goalkeeper Casimiro Batista, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Dario Etxahun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Murillo Dante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Bengt Östensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Abdurrezzak Tunçhan came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the VictorianoFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdurrezzak Tunçhan couldn't finish the play. If Uriel Goren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. VictorianoFC's Felipe Veto was substituted for Murillo Dante. 77 minutes into the match, Felipe Veto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bengt Östensson. Tifon Azul's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felipe Veto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 82nd minute Teobald Sokol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Batista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Tifon Azul's Uriel Goren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Casimiro Batista narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for VictorianoFC! The goalkeeper, Casimiro Batista, was totally fooled by Tifon Azul's Ted Korevaar, who 87 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Uriel Goren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tifon Azul's supporters rose to their feet, but Uriel Goren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casimiro Batista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
