With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teofilo Lopes in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Epifanio Monte saved El loco Max FC from getting behind. After 17 played minutes El loco Max FC got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Galsino. In the 19th minute David Mitxel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Chus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andres Calixto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Leonides Salvadore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and David Mitxel made a kick off. Genaro Roano charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerardo Iratzeder couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Perritos y Gatitos Unidos booed when El loco Max FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonides Salvadore didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute, Abelardo Eguen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Perritos y Gatitos Unidos's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
