With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ovidio Chus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nemesio Abilio came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Perritos y Gatitos Unidos's Edgardo Primeiro. But to his dismay, Edgardo Primeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Ovidio Chus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teodosio Telesforo went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 36th minute, Alejandro Kismi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Perritos y Gatitos Unidos's Ovidio Chus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tzvetomir Gruykin in the 37th minute of play. Elpidio Maju kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Teofilo Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 played minutes Newell´s got a freekick which was hit by Horea Ilie. The Newell´s players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Perritos y Gatitos Unidos were winning 1-2.
