Club Atletico River Plate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teofilo Lopes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Club Atletico River Plate's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Edgardo Primeiro scored to the left of an out of position Camilo Inocente, making the score, 2-0. Gerardo Iratzeders short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Camilo Inocente to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 26 minutes into the match, Edgardo Primeiro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Camilo Inocente, 3-0. After 31 played minutes Club Atletico River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Bide. In the 33rd minute, Perritos y Gatitos Unidos's Gerardo Iratzeder ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Camilo Inocente. Camilo Inocente yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Camilo Inocente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Primeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Edgardo Primeiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Camilo Inocente. That made the score 5-0 in the 40 minute of play. With an all-out effort, Perritos y Gatitos Unidos's Camilo Inocente threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edgardo Primeiro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Camilo Inocente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Lopes in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teofilo Lopes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gerardo Iratzeder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Inocente having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Edgardo Primeiro made a precise shot to the right of Camilo Inocente. Club Atletico River Plate's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. 66 minutes into the match, Edgardo Primeiro notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Club Atletico River Plate's Camilo Inocente. Camilo Inocente was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Camilo Inocente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camilo Inocente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Eguen in the 84th minute of play. After some careless play in the Club Atletico River Plate defense, Edgardo Primeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Inocente. The Club Atletico River Plate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Inocente should have stopped the shot. Emiliano Truylos hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Teofilo Lopes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camilo Inocente was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Perritos y Gatitos Unidos had played much better football throughout.
