Spectators: 7479 (Terracing: 5611, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leon Esiquio kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Tifon Azul's Ted Korevaar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artemio Olivar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 4 minutes Pata Boys's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dario Etxahun who took care of the corner kick. Ted Korevaar was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Uriel Goren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artemio Olivar having to interfere. Bengt Östensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Honrio in the 10th minute of play. Justino Orlondo hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Dario Etxahun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Artemio Olivar made a huge save. Ruben Honrio kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Tifon Azul's Dario Etxahun couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 16th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pata Boys. Leon Esiquio struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Bengt Östensson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pata Boys. Bengt Östensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Esiquio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 25 minutes, Leon Esiquio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pata Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon Esiquio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ted Korevaar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norbert Ludwiczak in the 34th minute of play forced Tifon Azul's goalkeeper Bengt Östensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 39 played minutes Pata Boys got a freekick which was hit by Justino Orlondo. In the 42nd minute, Norbert Ludwiczak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pata Boys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Placido Ostadar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Pata Boys's Ruben Honrio got a free kick in the 57th minute. Octavio Rumaldo hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Dario Etxahun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tifon Azul's supporters rose to their feet, but Dario Etxahun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artemio Olivar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd minute, Tifon Azul's Placido Ostadar seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Placido Ostadar the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Tifon Azul protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Placido Ostadar had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 62nd minute, one of Tifon Azul:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tifon Azul. In the 64th minute of the game, Pata Boys got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. Bengt Östensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Ludwiczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th match minute, Tifon Azul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Goren to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute, Norbert Ludwiczak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pata Boys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Bengt Östensson came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Pata Boys's Leon Esiquio. But to his dismay, Leon Esiquio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Uriel Goren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Tifon Azul booed when Pata Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zygmunt Gdowik didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Pata Boys's Matias Cortis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bengt Östensson. Bengt Östensson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Uriel Goren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artemio Olivar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Norbert Ludwiczak's late challenge caught a Tifon Azul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Norbert Ludwiczak helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th match minute, Pata Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norbert Ludwiczak to maneuver through the defense. The Pata Boys supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pata Boys would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
