Leon Esiquio started the match with the kick off. 12 minutes into the match, Flavio Fonticoba notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Pata Boys's Artemio Olivar. Artemio Olivar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 16 minutes into the game, Gelp 22's Flavio Fonticoba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Artemio Olivar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Silvano Patrido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 30 played minutes Pata Boys got a freekick which was hit by Justino Orlondo. If Silvano Patrido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leon Esiquio in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jaime Laurin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 42nd minute of the match Pata Boys got a corner. Gelp 22's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Silvestre Pitin ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 44th match minute, Gelp 22 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Fonticoba to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leon Esiquio got free with Jaime Laurin in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silvano Patrido was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Gelp 22's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Cortis came free, but Jaime Laurin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gelp 22's Albino Teyo got a free kick in the 58th minute. Pata Boys's Nauris Corti got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jaime Laurin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Ludwiczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvestre Monte was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 71 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gelp 22 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! Jaime Laurin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nauris Corti, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 81st minute Gelp 22 were awarded a corner. Cheng Liang Cheng went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Gelp 22's Cheng Liang Cheng to fire away a dangerous shot which Artemio Olivar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Artemio Olivar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliverios Cao in the 83rd minute of the match. Jaime Laurin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Cortis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Norbert Ludwiczak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jaime Laurin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Gelp 22's Dalmacio Basualdo was substituted for Albino Teyo. Jaime Laurin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Cortis, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After 94 played minutes Gelp 22 got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Fidensio. Gelp 22's Natalio Froylan was substituted for Flavio Fonticoba. A collision led to Gelp 22 getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Saverio Fidensio hit a great ball.
