Spectators: 7498 (Terracing: 5624, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fabiano Trabucco started the match with the kick off. When Caleufú's Fabiano Trabucco in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pata Boys's goalie prevented a goal. 4 minutes into the game, Ruben Honrio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pata Boys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caleufú the free kick. In the 4th minute, Ruben Honrio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artemio Olivar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabiano Trabucco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alejo Urtsin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Esiquio in the 9th minute of the match. Caleufú's Alejo Urtsin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Esiquio in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Pata Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Edinson Cavani came free, but Artemio Olivar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 played minutes Pata Boys got a freekick which was hit by Justino Orlondo. Pata Boys's Artemio Olivar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Trabucco in the 19th minute of play. Fabiano Trabuccos short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Artemio Olivar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 27 minutes Caleufú's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Silvestre Pitin who took care of the corner kick. After some careless play in the Caleufú defense, Leon Esiquio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alejo Urtsin. The Caleufú fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alejo Urtsin should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Esiquio in the 33rd minute of play forced Caleufú's goalkeeper Alejo Urtsin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Pata Boys's Leon Esiquio in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caleufú's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 43 minutes, Edinson Cavani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caleufú's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edinson Cavani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the game, Leon Esiquio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Alejo Urtsin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Caleufú's Patricio Rico got a free kick in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leon Esiquio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Caleufú got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Menendo. With a little luck, Caleufú's Alejo Urtsin got control of the ball when Leon Esiquio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alejo Urtsin made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Leon Esiquio sent off a good shot on target. Leon Esiquio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Alejo Urtsin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 62 minutes, Matias Cortis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pata Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matias Cortis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Caleufú's Alejo Urtsin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Caleufú from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patricio Rico in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artemio Olivar saved Pata Boys from getting behind. Artemio Olivar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabiano Trabucco's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. The supporters of Caleufú booed when Pata Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Honrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Norbert Ludwiczak who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Alejo Urtsin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leon Esiquio got free with Alejo Urtsin in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pata Boys's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Silvestre Pitin in the 79th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Caleufú's goalkeeper Alejo Urtsin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leon Esiquio. Edinson Cavani took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Artemio Olivar. Artemio Olivar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Ruben Honrio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alejo Urtsin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. When Ruben Honrio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. Pata Boys's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
