Casimiro Batista made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Eusebio Rocio sent off a good shot on target. If Celso Eliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Eusebio Rocio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of LA CARLOTA FC booed when VictorianoFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adan Aresti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celso Eliu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. LA CARLOTA FC's Ignacio Gomesano got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. VictorianoFC's Casimiro Batista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Jerano in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, VictorianoFC's Abdurrezzak Tunçhan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iker Moise made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 47 minutes into the match, VictorianoFC's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Eliu came free, but Casimiro Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdurrezzak Tunçhan to make the kick off.
