Tiburones's supporters rose to their feet, but Eddie Hultman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidio Chus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Lopes in the 16th minute of play forced Tiburones's goalkeeper Anibal Cordoba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th match minute, Tiburones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Eder to maneuver through the defense. Anibal Cordoba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Tiburones getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Luis Azubeli hit a great ball. Ovidio Chus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Benvido in the 24th minute of play. Eddie Hultman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ovidio Chus came out and tried to block the shot, but Eddie Hultman slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 30th minute. Anibal Cordoba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Primeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Perritos y Gatitos Unidos's Ovidio Chus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Domenec in the 35th minute of play. Anibal Cordoba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Tommy Freitag dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ovidio Chus, 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eddie Hultman was the one to do the kick off. When Eddie Hultman came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Tiburones fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eddie Hultman couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Perritos y Gatitos Unidos's zone, Amado Domenec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidio Chus came out of the goal and Amado Domenec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Perritos y Gatitos Unidos's Ovidio Chus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Benvido in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Perritos y Gatitos Unidos's goalkeeper Ovidio Chus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Elpidio Maju hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Anibal Cordoba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Lopes in the 66th minute of play. Teofilo Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Cordoba having to interfere. A collision led to Tiburones getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Tommy Freitag hit a great ball. After 72 minutes of play, Tiburones's Prospero Benvido made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ovidio Chus was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 83 played minutes Tiburones got a freekick which was hit by Delmiro Mingo. Anibal Cordoba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 86 played minutes Tiburones got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Eder. Amado Domenec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ovidio Chus came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tiburones's Prospero Benvido. But to his dismay, Prospero Benvido quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Anibal Cordoba made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Teofilo Lopes sent off a good shot on target. After 97 minutes, Amado Domenec made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Perritos y Gatitos Unidos's Ovidio Chus tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tiburones had won after a very even match.
