Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jawad Ashkanani to make the kick off. Jorge Cachorro in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Orlando Ondino, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 83rd minute, Osvaldo Geofredo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Cachorro got free with Orlando Ondino in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92nd minute Jorge Cachorro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Ondino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Orlando Ondino managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Tigre's Jorge Cachorro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tigre's Jorge Cachorro was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 95th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When the final whistle sounded Tigre left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Genoa FC.
