Spectators: 7554 (Terracing: 5667, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bernardo George took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Los Cachorros de Ted booed when Tigre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Aztore didn't get a good kick on the ball. 1-0 became the score in the 4th minute when Jorge Cachorro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 12th minute, Jorge Cachorro fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Uriel Taurino, passed just outside the right post. Uriel Taurino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nathan de Haan went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 16th minute, Tigre's Jorge Cachorro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Uriel Taurino made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Nathan de Haan sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Jorge Cachorro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Uriel Taurino. That made the score 5-0 in the 22 minute of play. The Tigre fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Tigre's Jorge Cachorro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nathan de Haan in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Uriel Taurino, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 32 played minutes Los Cachorros de Ted got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Cisco. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Jorge Cachorro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tigre's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Cachorro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uriel Taurino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nathan de Haan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Uriel Taurino made a huge save. Jorge Cachorro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Uriel Taurino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorge Cachorro made a kick off. After 52 minutes, Mister Perfecto made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Los Cachorros de Ted's Uriel Taurino tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jorge Cachorro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Tigre's Benedicto Aztore got a free kick in the 59th minute. If Jorge Cachorro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tigre's Daniel Romildo was substituted for Nico Otamendi. In the 71st minute Jorge Cachorro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Taurino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Los Cachorros de Ted's zone, Nathan de Haan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uriel Taurino came out of the goal and Nathan de Haan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 78 played minutes Los Cachorros de Ted got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Manilan. Uriel Taurino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Cachorro's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute, Bernardo George hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uriel Taurino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Cachorro in the 87th minute of play. Jorge Cachorro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute.
