Ahmet Bülent Özgur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jawad Ashkanani in the 18th minute of the match. Orlando Ondino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Justin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Ramond Abila left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coghlan FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jawad Ashkanani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Ahmet Bülent Özgur made a huge save. Pablo Justin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pablo Justin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pablo Justin scored 0-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Orlando Ondino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pablo Justin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Ondino having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Justin in the 39th minute of play forced Genoa FC's goalkeeper Orlando Ondino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Pablo Justin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Orlando Ondino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramond Abila in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute, Ramond Abila reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Orlando Ondino. The goal made the score 0-3. Pablo Justin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Ondino having to interfere. Pablo Justin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Orlando Ondino having to make a save. In the 60th minute, Pablo Justin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 67 played minutes Coghlan FC got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Ferran. In the 75th minute, Pablo Justin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 79th minute, Pablo Justin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jawad Ashkanani took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ahmet Bülent Özgur. Ahmet Bülent Özgur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 87th minute, Blas Gomez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Ourente could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Orlando Ondino made a huge save. If Jawad Ashkanani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Genoa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Justin came free, but Orlando Ondino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Genoa FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ivan Ourente was slow to take the kick. During this time Coghlan FC's players had a chance to rest. Coghlan FC's Ivan Ourente was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Orlando Ondino in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Coghlan FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
