Ahmet Bülent Özgur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amancio Frascuelo in the 7th minute of play. After 8 minutes Coghlan FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Amancio Frascuelo who took care of the corner kick. Pablo Justin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Federico Gaxan made a huge save. 11 minutes into the match, San Marcos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramond Abila came free, but Federico Gaxan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Benjamin Cordeal took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Federico Gaxan to make any attempt to save it. Federico Gaxan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Justin, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Federico Gaxan was a little too slow when Hong Jian Jun got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 2-0. 22 minutes into the match, San Marcos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Justin came free, but Federico Gaxan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pablo Justin had several of the San Marcos FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 25 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Federico Gaxan as he didn't even see the shot coming. Federico Gaxan made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Benjamin Cordeal sent off a good shot on target. Federico Gaxan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramond Abila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute Pablo Justin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Gaxan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Federico Gaxan made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Ramond Abila sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Coghlan FC booed when San Marcos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ray Muggleton didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Coghlan FC's Federico Gaxan threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pablo Justin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ahmet Bülent Özgur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Melcon, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. San Marcos FC's Ray Muggleton suffered a sore thigh after 44 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 44 minutes into the game, Inocencio Ferran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coghlan FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Marcos FC the free kick. Coghlan FC's Ahmet Bülent Özgur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Melcon in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pablo Justin was the one to do the kick off. San Marcos FC's Aurelio Melcon was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 55th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 59 minutes into the match, San Marcos FC's Aurelio Melcon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmet Bülent Özgur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 61 played minutes Coghlan FC got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Ourente. Maksymilian Wodaszak's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ahmet Bülent Özgur firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramond Abila in the 65th minute of play forced San Marcos FC's goalkeeper Federico Gaxan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 66 played minutes San Marcos FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Tono. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerasim Nevzlin during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, San Marcos FC's Gerasim Nevzlin got a free kick in the 69th minute. Federico Gaxan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Justin in the 71st minute of play. Aurelio Melcon might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ahmet Bülent Özgur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aurelio Melcon ran back to his position shaking his head. Maksymilian Wodaszak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Coghlan FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Pablo Justin hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute, Benjamin Cordeal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Federico Gaxan was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. 86 minutes into the game, Coghlan FC's Pablo Justin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Federico Gaxan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Ahmet Bülent Özgur made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Aurelio Melcon sent off a good shot on target. San Marcos FC's Maksymilian Wodaszak got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Coghlan FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
