In the 21st minute of the match Laureles Argentinos got a corner. Kanalla F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Generoso Fe ran over to the corner to take the kick. 25 minutes into the match, Laureles Argentinos's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Rashford came free, but Evaristo Elizardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Kanalla F.C's Marcus Rashford sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evaristo Elizardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Laureles Argentinos's goalkeeper Evaristo Elizardo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 33rd minute of the match Kanalla F.C got a corner. Laureles Argentinos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Conrado Mogel ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Gregorio Raebert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Laureles Argentinos's Evaristo Elizardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Rashford in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcus Rashford made a kick off. Laureles Argentinos's Alonzo Perfecto quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Augusto Cebrian, made in the 51st minute of the game. Evaristo Elizardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Rashford in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Laureles Argentinos's Alonzo Perfecto got a free kick in the 57th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Marcus Rashford managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kanalla F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcus Rashford was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evaristo Elizardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 63 minutes into the match, Kanalla F.C's Marcus Rashford sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evaristo Elizardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ercüment Tanju got free with Evaristo Elizardo in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th minute, Santos Bartuelo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laureles Argentinos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Kanalla F.C's Delmar Ignado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Velasco in the 83rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Laureles Argentinos's Generoso Fe got a free kick in the 94th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Laureles Argentinos's goal looked a bit too open when Ercüment Tanju came free, but Evaristo Elizardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
