Spectators: 7528 (Terracing: 5647, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Evelio Quintun took the kick off in the first half of the match. Prospero Juvenal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. El Tumor del Gato II's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Ermegildo Urdin scored to the left of an out of position Apolo Chan, making the score, 1-0. In the 7th minute, Prospero Juvenal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Apolo Chan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Virgilio Umbruso was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 12th minute. Cañani's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Virgilio Umbruso kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Inocencio Oliveiro scored 3-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Apolo Chan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Inocencio Oliveiro took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Apolo Chan. Apolo Chan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Apolo Chan was a little too slow when Inocencio Oliveiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 5-0. In the 27th minute Prospero Juvenal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Chan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Virgilio Umbruso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Cañani's Epifanio Colas got a free kick in the 31st minute. The supporters of Cañani booed when El Tumor del Gato II was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Faro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in El Tumor del Gato II's zone, Victor Fonso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apolo Chan came out of the goal and Victor Fonso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Virgilio Umbruso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cañani's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgilio Umbruso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Cañani's Virgilio Umbruso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 7-0. If Inocencio Oliveiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Virgilio Umbruso was the one to do the kick off. Cañani's Faustino Txerran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Cañani from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Cañani's Victor Fonso got a free kick in the 54th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Evelio Quintun kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Faustino Txerran. That made the score 7-1 in the 55 minute of play. The supporters of Cañani booed when El Tumor del Gato II was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ariel Ursino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Prospero Juvenal scored 8-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Apolo Chan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Faustino Txerran made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Leonel Adrio sent off a good shot on target. Apolo Chan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inocencio Oliveiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Virgilio Umbruso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th minute, El Tumor del Gato II's Evelio Quintun dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 8-2. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cañani's goalkeeper Faustino Txerran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Virgilio Umbruso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cañani's supporters rose to their feet, but Virgilio Umbruso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Apolo Chan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Inocencio Oliveiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Chan having to interfere.
