Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Barriales's Israel Sidoro got a free kick in the 4th minute. Genaro Abel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicanor Urko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Prospero Juvenal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benicio Hanot was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Benicio Hanot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Juvenal in the 13th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Barriales's zone, Eliseo Botello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benicio Hanot came out of the goal and Eliseo Botello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Cañani's Prospero Juvenal, in the 19th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Cañani. Cañani's Nicanor Urko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marciano Sarracino in the 21st minute of play. The Cañani fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Cañani's Romulo Asur looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Sarracino in the 32nd minute of play forced Cañani's goalkeeper Nicanor Urko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteve Asteri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Nicanor Urko made a huge save. Benicio Hanot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prospero Juvenal, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Juvenal in the 36th minute of play forced Barriales's goalkeeper Benicio Hanot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Cañani's Eliseo Botello nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benicio Hanot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 41st minute, Eliseo Botello left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cañani fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Prospero Juvenal in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benicio Hanot saved Barriales from getting behind. In the 45th match minute, Barriales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by German Mazuste to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.
In the 51st minute, Cañani's Prospero Juvenal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. In the 54th minute, Prospero Juvenal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benicio Hanot was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Prospero Juvenal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Benicio Hanot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Barriales booed when Cañani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Fonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute of the match Esteve Asteri shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicanor Urko showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 74th minute, one of Barriales:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Barriales. Froilan Ireno hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. When Romulo Asur came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Cañani fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romulo Asur couldn't finish the play. Benicio Hanot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romulo Asur in the 85th minute of play. Cañani's Prospero Juvenal got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Romulo Asur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Benicio Hanot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliseo Botello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Hanot having to interfere. The Barriales fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cañani were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
