The Millonarioneuquino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marciano Beliran should have stopped the shot. In the 19th minute of the match, Genaro Abel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marciano Beliran saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Genaro Abel had several of the Millonarioneuquino's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 23 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Marciano Beliran as he didn't even see the shot coming. The supporters of Millonarioneuquino booed when Barriales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Israel Sidoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. One of Millonarioneuquino:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Barriales:s goal. In the 96th minute there was a penalty for Barriales. Lorenzo Iago stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marciano Beliran. 6-1. Genaro Abel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Beliran having to interfere. Barriales walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
