The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Esteban Ponc during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 10th minute, Esteban Ponc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in FENIX FC's zone, Santos Bartuelo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wieslaw Olejniczak came out of the goal and Santos Bartuelo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the game, Alonzo Perfecto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Wieslaw Olejniczak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of FENIX FC booed when Laureles Argentinos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Bartuelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Bartuelo in the 16th minute of play forced FENIX FC's goalkeeper Wieslaw Olejniczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 minutes of play, Laureles Argentinos's Celestino Velasco made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wieslaw Olejniczak was left in no man's land by his defense there! Santos Bartuelo took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wieslaw Olejniczak. Wieslaw Olejniczak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Santos Bartuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laureles Argentinos's supporters rose to their feet, but Santos Bartuelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wieslaw Olejniczak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FENIX FC's Wieslaw Olejniczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Velasco in the 27th minute of play. When Laureles Argentinos's Celestino Velasco in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. FENIX FC's Wieslaw Olejniczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Velasco in the 40th minute of play. Rene Egoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Evaristo Elizardo made a huge save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Reynaldo Kemen to strike the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the match, FENIX FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Velasco came free, but Wieslaw Olejniczak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adolfo Rey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wieslaw Olejniczak having to interfere. A collision led to FENIX FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Enzo Dayam hit a great ball. Laureles Argentinos's Generoso Fe suffered a concussion after 59 minutes and had to leave the field. After 61 played minutes FENIX FC got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Ubendu. Celestino Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Wieslaw Olejniczak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Adolfo Rey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the FENIX FC defense, Gregorio Raebert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wieslaw Olejniczak. The FENIX FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wieslaw Olejniczak should have stopped the shot. FENIX FC's Wieslaw Olejniczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Bartuelo in the 74th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Santos Bartuelo made a precise shot to the right of Wieslaw Olejniczak. FENIX FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Wieslaw Olejniczak came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Laureles Argentinos's Santos Bartuelo. But to his dismay, Santos Bartuelo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. In the 85th minute, Celestino Velasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gregorio Raebert kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Santos Bartuelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 91st match minute, FENIX FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Firme to maneuver through the defense. Wieslaw Olejniczak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Bartuelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Laureles Argentinos left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FENIX FC.
