Cañani's Nicanor Urko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Quico in the 18th minute of play. Nicanor Urko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Quico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 played minutes Hortensia FCG got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Olivar. In the 24th minute, Romulo Asur left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cañani fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Prospero Juvenal's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Melquiades Firman firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 29th minute, Ermegildo Urdin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Melquiades Firman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Prospero Juvenal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 32 minute of play. Hortensia FCG's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 58 minutes into the match, Hortensia FCG's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Asur came free, but Melquiades Firman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicanor Urko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafino Ferran in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Hortensia FCG's Agustin Iraido ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nicanor Urko. Nicanor Urko yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-2. 72 minutes into the match, Delmar Quico dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nicanor Urko, 6-3. 75 minutes into the match, Cañani's goalkeeper Nicanor Urko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Delmar Quico. Romulo Asur might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melquiades Firman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Romulo Asur ran back to his position shaking his head. 85 minutes into the match, Hortensia FCG's goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Juvenal came free, but Melquiades Firman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
