Laureles Argentinos were furious when Adolfo Rey was red carded, 22 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Laureles Argentinos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Bartuelo in the 26th minute of play forced Halcones's goalkeeper Siro Lore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Ortzi couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Laureles Argentinos's Alonzo Perfecto got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Laureles Argentinos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eyvar Janusson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Santos Bartuelo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Santos Bartuelo struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Siro Lore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laureles Argentinos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Bartuelo in the 46th minute of play forced Halcones's goalkeeper Siro Lore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 53rd minute Miromir Bochinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Elizardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Laureles Argentinos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Miromir Bochinski was slow to take the kick. During this time Halcones's players had a chance to rest. Halcones's Miromir Bochinski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Evaristo Elizardo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 56th minute, Santos Bartuelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 58th minute, Santos Bartuelo made a precise shot to the right of Siro Lore. Halcones's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Santos Bartuelo hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Miromir Bochinski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evaristo Elizardo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Halcones's Siro Lore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Bartuelo in the 80th minute of play. Siro Lore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Bartuelo in the 82nd minute of the match. Siro Lore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Raebert, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The supporters of Halcones booed when Laureles Argentinos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Generoso Fe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 95 played minutes Laureles Argentinos got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Raebert. The Laureles Argentinos players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Halcones from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
