After a defensive mix-up in Ortigol's zone, Delmar Abar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliciano Soin came out of the goal and Delmar Abar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Casemiro Joinvilense kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes Ortigol got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Avellaneda. The supporters of Ortigol booed when Aserradero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Cibran didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcos Laffitte in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Poncio saved Aserradero FC from getting behind. A collision led to Ortigol getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Cirilo Porfiro hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the game, Jan Knutsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ismael Poncio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aserradero FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcos Laffitte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcos Laffitte to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Everardo Quinten made a precise shot to the right of Ismael Poncio. Aserradero FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. After 61 minutes of play, Ortigol's Benito Abella made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ismael Poncio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcos Laffitte had several of the Aserradero FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 81 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-10 score and a disappointed Ismael Poncio as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 84th minute Cirilo Porfiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Poncio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Poncio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Laffitte in the 85th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Aserradero FC's Yerry Mina got a free kick in the 86th minute. Marcos Laffitte scored 0-11 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ismael Poncio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Aserradero FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ortigol were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
