An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Urbasa in the 7th minute of play forced Aserradero FC's goalkeeper Ismael Poncio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ismael Poncio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruperto Mazuste in the 8th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Real Caballito Juniors's Normando Severo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ismael Poncio. Ismael Poncio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Caballito Juniors's Normando Severo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ismael Poncio. That made the score 3-0 after 18 minutes of play. Ismael Poncio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Tono, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 32 minutes into the match, Real Caballito Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Artal came free, but Bonifacio Geleberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delmar Abar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrian Tono recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aserradero FC's Ismael Poncio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Aserradero FC from getting a goal against them. Ismael Poncio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Normando Severo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aserradero FC's Ismael Poncio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Mazuste in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
