Metegol's Niceto Peru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Laffitte in the 25th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Cirilo Porfiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, Jan Knutsson notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Metegol's Niceto Peru. Niceto Peru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 40 minutes into the match, Metegol's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Quinten came free, but Niceto Peru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Laffitte in the 41st minute of play forced Metegol's goalkeeper Niceto Peru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niceto Peru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcos Laffitte's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Metegol's Niceto Peru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Quinten in the 44th minute of play. Marcos Laffitte took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niceto Peru. Niceto Peru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Ortigol's Cirilo Porfiro got a free kick in the 58th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Metegol's goalkeeper Niceto Peru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Everardo Quinten. Niceto Peru made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Benito Abella sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st minute, Jan Knutsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jan Knutsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Laffitte scored 0-7 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Niceto Peru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Ortigol's Jan Knutsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Niceto Peru. That made the score 0-8 after 94 minutes of play. Ortigol's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
